The ending of this year is bittersweet for me. My youngest daughter is off to middle school. I'll miss having her in my class and driving to school with her. I know she is ready - but I'm not. So tomorrow is the big day...5th Grade GRADUATION! I hope I can hold it together!!!
This week is always hectic and crazy here at school. As teachers we have so much to wrap up and only 2 days with out students to do it. But, with all that stuff, it is also a time to reflect on my sweet students. I have been given so many nice letters and gifts - it makes me feel so special! I always try to write a personal thank you note to each student or family to let them know how much I appreciate their thoughtfulness. This year and last year I received a gift card from several families and I want to make sure I get a chance to thank them.
Dear Students (Gemma, Mason, Maddie B, Zach B, Olivia C, Johanna,Elizabeth H, Madeline H, David H, Asher, Reed, Chase and Chloe, Dylan, Kate, Emmett, Harrison L, Ren, Jenna, Liza and Wesley, Anthony M, Foster and Luke, Drew and Gabi, Izzy, Knox, Anna, Cara and Will, Miia, Caroline, Abby and Jeremy, Bella, Jaycee, and Tori, Mia, Emily, Crescent, Kelsie, Christina, Alex, ),
Thank you so much for the Target gift card! I can't wait to go shopping! It was so nice of you all to think of me. I am very lucky to have all of you in my life. Have a wonderful, fun, relaxing, summer! Keep up those drawing skills!
Love,
Mrs. Avery
